preference rules

Ajouté par riccardo bernardi il y a presque 7 ans

Hello,
is it possible to apply a labeling preference rule just to a specific component?
For example, I would like to display the ECC code instead of the name just in the colors.
Is that possible?

Thank you.

Riccardo.

Hello,

Here is the link to our wiki for your specific problem. You will find how to do it:

Hello,

thank you for your reply.

I have already tried to use this preference formula (showIngCEECode = true), but then all the ingredients are displayed as CEE code.
Actually, I would like to apply this formula just to a single ingredient in the list, not to all. Let's say, for instance, just to the color E150d.
But if I put my ingredient (color E150d) in the "Components" field of the labeling preference rule, it does not work. All the ingredients in the list are converted to the CEE code.

Do you have any suggestion?

Thanks,
Riccardo.

Hello,

You could use the "rename" rule if you are working with one or two colorants at a time. But the easier is to change the legal name of your ingredient using only the CEE code.
It will be easier if you always want the same name for the ingredient.
