System Information Tab

Hello,
I have a question about System information in beCPG (I use alfresco community 5.d) I seethe parameter Free memory (you can see it in attachment), and this parameter is dinamically changing always? when I refresh page. Can you explain me is it a real value and what it depends on or its a fake value?

Hi,

Free memory is the remaining java heap size, please have a look on how java handle memory and how garbage collector works.
If it's changing a lot maybe you need to add more memory to your Java process. And use memory analyzer
such as jconsole to go deeper.
