managed to fuck up share/database
Ajouté par Koen De Jaeger il y a presque 12 ans
Hi there, hellow, bonjour.
I was playing around with the default content type available after installation. Somehow I managed to get the share project to always give me a stacktrace. Makes me worry ... ! :)
Now, I tried switching to lucene, reapplying the amps to a clean share. Removing alfresco and share deployed folder. But I cannot get rid of the error message that removed access to /share.
It must be something corrupted the database? What else could it be.
The error happened after I published a form config in the designer. I remember dragging and dropping the node type (where I added prop1). It created 2 configs. Then I added an empty config with the name "koen config" and simply pressed publish. After that my /share context was unavailable.
What's strange also : next to the tomcat and amps folder, there's a folder structure : ${dir.root}/designer/extCustomForm.xml.
catalina.out.zip (1,83 ko) catalina.out.zip | stacktrace | ||
extCustomForm.xml (866 octets) extCustomForm.xml | file that was saved in ${dir.root} ... |

Hi,
The catalina.out doesn't seems valid can you paste the error parts. Which version of amps are you usings ?
You can try remove ${dir.root} and publish again.
(don't have any idea why dir.root for now please provide more details on your install steps)
Regards
Matthieu

Here's the log again, this time not scrambled, sorry for that.
I installed the latest 1.4 ones. Version c on a clean 4.0d alfresco installation. Using linux 64bit.
I first installed the control amps and I deployed them via the share deploy URL (as you pointed out in wiki).
Then I installed the designer amps. After that, the example model was NOT visible in the designer page. So the designer page did not work immediately. I tried this before and this is reproducible. I actually thought that I had that solr/lucene issue, but it was fixed in version 1.4 c. Luckily I just rebooted and it showed up and worked ... . So this is something to check out as well. Since a lot of new users install the 4 amps, deploy the controls, and then nothing shows up on that page ... until they reboot again ... .
Oke, now ... . I deleted that ${dir.root} directory and /share is accessible again! Magically. Hope I did things good and you can puzzle out the relation between the logs, the dir and /share not booting.
Oke ... I'll check out the addon further tomorrow or next week, looks very nicely done. I also checked form management. Both seem to be totally different.
