becpg installed but not visible on menu
Ajouté par Adrian Crawley il y a presque 8 ans
Hi,
I was asked to install the becpg project package onto our Alfresco system, which is running 5.0d Community Edition on a CentOS server.
- I downloaded the becpg-project-2.1.0-20160421.zip file and extracted it.
- I stopped Alfresco by using the " ./alfresco.sh stop " command and it shut down successfully
- I copied the amp files (becpg-core-2.1.0.amp, becpg-project-core-2.1.0.amp, becpg-project-share-2.1.0.amp & becpg-share-2.1.0.amp) into the following location - \opt\Alfresco-5.0.d\amps
- I executed the following command " bin/apply_amps.sh " and it seemed to seemed to run successfully. There were no error messages.
- I restarted the server with the command " ./alfresco.sh start "
- Alfresco has started but i can't see the becpg menu
Have you any idea what might be wrong?
Can I supply any log files to make it easier to diagnose?
I'm only after noticing a deploy.sh in the root folder, should I have used it to install?
Regards,
Adrian

Hi,
beCPG 2.1 is for Alfresco 5.1. Please use 2.0.4 version

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I downloaded the 2.04 version and followed the same steps as above, but I still get the same error message.
I've copied the error message that I get when I run the bin/apply_amps.sh command.
Do I need to use the deploy.sh script in the root of the extracted files to install the amps packages?
Regards,
Adrian

Hi,
Yes you should use the deploy.sh or run the command inside it, apply_amps doesn't garantee that amp are install in the good order.

I can't get the deploy.sh command to run
I've opened a terminal session in the folder that the files were extracted to.
I used the SU command
I tried to run ./deploy.sh and I get the following error message
Usage: ./deploy.sh <server path> <modules (core)>
I haven't done much work installing applications.
Is there a guide for installing it on Linux?

Adrian

- becpg Core
- becpg Project Core
- becpg Vault Share
- becpg Project Share
I've attached the result from the last time that I executed the command, everything seems to have installed successfully
I restarted the server, but the becpg menu is not added.
Am I missing something here?

Adrian

I checked for the startup files in the following location /opt/alfresco/tomcat/logs
I presume its the catalina.****.log that you are interested in, I've attached the most recent one here.

Hi,
I attached a set of logfiles last Friday.
Are these the correct files for analysis?

I had to get some help to modify the paths to suit our server, then the 4 scripts executed successfully.
I stopped the server and restarted it
but the becpg menu is not displayed
Is the correct startup file attached?

Hi,
Did anyone get a chance to look through the log file that I uploaded?
Was it the correct file?

I am facing below error while mvn install command.
"Failure to find fr.becpg:becpg-core:pom:2.0.4 in https://artifacts.alfresco.com/nexus/content/groups/public was cached in the local repository"
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Can you be more precise on what you want to do? We are not releasing or AMP under alfresco nexus maven repository, you have to compile and install it.
