Disable emails from beCPG Project

Hi, I am testing the functionality of beCPG Project

Is it possible to disable emails altogether whilst we test? basically its just the task assignment email which we would like to block temporarily whilst we get familiar with the system and setup some test projects

Also, it would be useful to know how to enable them again once we are ready to implement

Thanks for a great Alfresco add-on

Hi,

Email for task assignement are sent by Alfresco adhoc workflow. There is no easy way to disable it.
Here are some suggestions:

  • When you create your task you can choose empty workflow
  • You can create test user with fake mail
  • You can setup fake smtp into Alfresco
  • You can use task delegation into user settings to temporaly reasign workflow tasks.
